My goal has always been to create 3D CG images that could pass as an actual photograph. But I had been very occupied with photography since 2012. It had been quite some time (9 years) since my last attempt at this and I had very limited resources. I was running on an Intel Celeron when I made this. It certainly pays to have an understanding of light. That knowledge alone made a huge difference.
